Academic Council of TSU approved for the accreditation purposes the interdisciplinary Master’s Programme in European Studies as well as the new Jean Monnet Bachelorʹs Programme in European Studies
On 11th of April 2022 two academic programmes of the Institute for European Studies of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University – the Master’s Programme in European Studies (established under EC TACIS project) as well as the new Jean Monnet Bachelor’s Programme in European Studies (established under EU Erasmus+ project) were approved by the Academic Council of TSU. This successful development coincided with the symbolic date for our country as the same day Georgia had been handed over the questionnaire by Commission on the EU membership application.

The Institute for European Studies of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University in close collaboration with the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University (Lithuania) is starting to run a Double Degree Master Programme. The details were discussed during the meeting with the Dean of the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University Tomas Davulis, the Rector of TSU George Sharvashidze and the Director of IES Nino Lapiashvili.
